India will be a better nation when the youths have both the power to uplift a government and overpower a government, said AISF leader and political activists Kanhaiya Kumar.
He was addressing the gathering during a one-day special interaction programme on Friday on the topic "role of youths in politics" held at GM Hall. It was organised by the Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee.
Kanhaiya Kumar pointed out that the political party which does not give a platform for the youths can be termed as the most corrupted political party.
He also lamented Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not giving any opportunity to the media to interact with him for two-way interaction between government and public is a fundamental thing in running a democratic government.
He alleged that the BJP is also the biggest liar as they are unable to fulfil none of its promises mentioned in the manifesto such as giving 1.5 lakh jobs every year among others.
Instead of taking up initiatives to evacuate the stranded Indian citizen in Ukraine the central leaders are focusing only on the election, he added.
To lure votes the BJP talks only about making a progressive society, but in reality, they even failed to give the basic rights to the people, he asserted.
