Addressing a press conference at Congress Bhawan on Sunday, Santa said that INDIA Bloc wants to support a competent representative of Manipur and is trying its best to perform a free and fair elections.

Considering the situation in Manipur, the campaigns are being held in a low-key manner, he said. “Despite all this, armed miscreants constantly attacking our inner as well as outer candidate has been extremely unfortunate. They are again asking us to stop election campaigns,” he said.

He appealed to the civil society organisations and Meira Paibis to extend support in maintaining free and fair elections during the election day.
