Imas (elderly women folks) of Langjing Achouba area were felicitated by the Kanglei Accupressure, Alternative Therapy, Treatment, Research and Training Centre (KAATTRTC) during the "Imasingda Langbalgi Khudol Tamba" programme organised on Monday at the community hall of Langjing Achouba in Imphal West.
The KAATTRTC also felicitated the advisor of Old Age Home, Langjing Achouba Tahkhelmayum Rajen Ayangba, acknowledging his immense dedication towards the well-being of the Old Age Home which is run by KAATTRIC.
Delivering the keynote address of the programme, KAATTRIC president Geeta Konthoujam highlighted the immense role and responsibility of a mother in a society.
Encouraging the mothers is the duty of all, she said, adding that the Old Age Home was established in 2018 as recreation spot for old women by giving only daycare service.
The function was also attended by member of Patsoi ZP L Langlen Leima as chief guest; advisor of Old Age Home Langjing Achouba RK Meipaksana as president.
