Secretary of educational and academic affairs of DESAM, Somol Luwang said that students are facing numerous disturbances created by anti-social elements while pursuing their studies.

Due to the absence of a transport fare norm, students are paying the same fare like other common people and as students are the future assets of the state, public transporters should charge a lesser amount of fare, he said.

Drivers of public transport should not hesitate allowing students to ply in their vehicle in fear of getting less fare, he said.
