Platinum Jubilee Cup, a football tournament to mark the State Level Platinum Jubilee Celebration of the Zomi Nam Ni 2023, will have the highest cash prize in the district of Churachandpur with the winner set to get Rs 3 lakh while the runners-up will get Rs 1 lakh.
Chairman and secretary of the organising committee of the Platinum Jubilee Cup said the football tournament will have the highest prize for the district. It will be organised to mark the State Level Platinum Jubilee Celebration of the Zomi Nam Ni 2023.
Set to be kicked off from January 10, 2022, all clubs under CDSA and AMFA are welcomed to participate in the tournament, which registration started on December 12 to December 28.
Individual cash awards for best player, best goalkeepers, top goal scholar, man of the match will be given starting from quarter final onwards, the organisers said.
It may be mentioned that Zomi Nam Ni was declared as a state level festival by the Government of Manipur recently.
