A Hepatitis B Virus screening and vaccination camp was held at the Resource Centre for Social Welfare and Community Development (RC-SWACD), Japhou Bazar Chandel district on Thursday.

It was organised by Community Network for Empowerment (CoNe) in collaboration with National Viral Hepatitis Control Program (NVHCP) under the sponsorship of GILEAD Sciences.

During the camp, as many as 30 injecting drug users turned up for screening. All of them tested negative for Hepatitis B negative but 11 of them were found positive for Hepatitis C.
