Har Ghar Tiranga campaign launched in Churachandpur

The event was marked by a vehicle rally which was flagged off by IG of the Subsidiary Training Center/BSF, Umesh Kumar Nayal.

The STC/BSF Churachandpur on Monday launched the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' as a part of the Azadi Ka Mahotsav to encourage government/Autonomous/semi-Autonomous/private officers and local residents in the vicinity of the STC/BSF campus to hoist the National flag to mark the 75th year of India’s Independence Day.

The event was marked by a vehicle rally which was flagged off by IG of the Subsidiary Training Center/BSF, Umesh Kumar Nayal, in the presence of his subordinate officers and soldiers who had distributed the National flag to local villagers to encourage people to hoist Tiranga at their home.

The vehicle rally to promote the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign started from the STC/BSF centre at Gangpimual village and covered Gangpimual, SP office to Peace Ground, Tuibong and returned to STC/BSF where it ended. On the way, the rallyist encouraged and motivated the people to hoist the National flag to promote spirit of nationalism among the citizens and instill a sense of pride in doing so.

As a part of the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign between August 8 to 15, the STC/BSF have been scheduling many events like Walkathon, installation of banners and posters at public places, painting and essay writing competition, hosting of national flag at various places, bike rally, etc. involving BSF members and their families, students of Kendriya Vidyalaya Churachandpur and local residents of Churachandpur.
