The proprietor of Genuine Solution, Churachandpur branch, on Tuesday clarified that they have not forced any shopkeepers to buy portable fire extinguishers in Churachandpur town as was reported in local newspapers.
Addressing the press at the Branch outlet located at Rangkai Road, Thanglienmang, the proprietor, refuted the reports, calling it untrue and asserted that they are not involved in such unethical practice.
Genuine Solution is a certified firm recognised by the Manipur Fire Service Department, fulfilling all legal status for promoting fire safety products in the state, he said and called on the general public not to be carried away by such misinformation.
Genuine Solutions have been promoting awareness on fire prevention and protection in the town of Churachandpur in line with the CEO ADC order No 1/33/ADCC-Town/2017/135 dated the 10/05/2019 where First Aid Fire Extinguishers/Fire Fighting Equipments are to be made compulsory in all shops, stalls, Hotels, Restaurants, Cinema Halls, High Rise Buildings, Hospitals, Workshops, Godowns, Places of worship, Educational institutions, offices and other commercial establishments located within the town in order to minimize the loss of public properties and human lives during sudden outbreak of fire, said Thanglienmang.
