The family of a road accident victim Naorem Sanajaoba from Waikhurok under Torbung Gram Panchayat, Kumbi assembly constituency in Bishnupur district was provided a financial aid of Rs 12,500 by Like Minded Group (LMG), Manipur on Saturday.
LMG stated that Naorem Sanajaoba had been paralysed for the past 10 years after getting injured in a road mishap. His father and a younger brother had also passed away, it added. His mother is also suffering from a mental illness, LMG stated. One of his younger brothers had dropped out from studying at DM College and working as a manual labourer to run the family, it mentioned.
A team led by its secretary Sorokhaibam Ojit along with Keke Wahengbam, Maibam Eteen, Sobita Maibam, Kunjeshwsar Mangsatabam, Surendra Ningombam, Raghu Tongbaram , Boinao Maibam and other members of the group were present when the financial aid was provided, it added.
