Wabagai MLA Usham Deben felicitated Ronika Takhellambam, 18th position holder of High School Leaving Certificate Examination 2023 conducted by Board of Secondary Education Manipur, with a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh.
Chanambam Thambou Higher Secondary School Mayang Imphal student Ronika Takhellambam of Maibam Konjil Mayai Leikai, Wabgai is the daughter of Takhellambam Nilachandra and Takhellambam Roma.
Booth Level Committee 36/6 and 36/7 Wabagai AC, joining hands with Maibam Social Welfare Club Mayang Imphal Maibam, also organised a public meeting during the felicitation programme held at Maibam Mamang Leikai. The meeting discussed the ongoing ethnic violence in the state.
MLA Usham Deben and Maibam Social Welfare Club founder president Maibam Ibohal attended the event as chief guest and president respectively.
