Hundreds of farmers from Manipur will participate in the Kisan Gharjna rally to be held on December 19, 2022 at Ramlila Maidan, in New Delhi.
Speaking to the media on Tuesday at the Manipur Press Club, state president of Bharatiya Kisan Sangh, N Indubhusan said that on December 19, the All India National Committee of Bharatiya Kisan Sangh will organise Kisan Gharjna rally at New Delhi.
The rally is organised so that the prices of all the agricultural products grown by the farmers should be based on cost of production, that is seed, fertilizer, pesticide, etc. and a profitable price should be paid based on that.
GST also should be removed immediately on main inputs of the agricultural sector and the amount paid under the Prime Minister's Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme (PM-KISAN) should be increased on the basis of inflation, Indubhusan said.
