Manipur Chief Minister N Biren on Saturday said, “Pease do not dictate us or the people. There is only one government,” while reacting on the imposition of a ban on organising of entertainment programmes and events by some student bodies.
It is reported that some unknown individuals torched the musical instrument of artistes who were playing the music of Thabal Chongba festival at Imphal West on Friday night. The musical instruments were burned for organising the event even after being banned by six student bodies, as per sources.
