Moirang Kampu Development Committee (MKDC) and Moirang Kampu Nupi Thoudang Lup (MKNTL) have jointly condemned the threatening Khumanthem Jalem, one of the residents of Moirang Kampu in Imphal East district, on the night of August 25 by some unidentified persons at his home.

During a press conference at Moirang Kampu on Sunday, president of MKDC, Waikhom Ananda Meitei said that Khumanthem Jalem, who is also the secretary of Moirang Kampu Union Club, was threatened by three unidentified persons on August 25 at his home. The miscreants claimed that they came to threaten Jalem under the command of SI Uttam, Ananda added.
