Polling for second phase Manipur Assembly Elections 2022 began early Saturday across 22 constituencies under six districts of the state.

As the polling of second phase Manipur Assembly Elections 2022 began early Saturday across 22 constituencies in six districts of the state, Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh took to social media and urged all voters to turn out in large number and vote for a "peaceful and developed Manipur".

"On this second phase of Manipur Assembly Election 2022 happening today in 22 seats, I urge all the voters in these constituencies to turn out in large number and vote to secure a peaceful & developed Manipur," Biren tweeted early Saturday.

The second phase polling will decide the fate of 92 candidates, including two women, in the fray.
