College of Food Technology Imphal extends relief items

A relief material distribution cum health check up was held at the relief centre opened at Khangabok, Thoubal district on Thursday.

Students and staff of College of Food Technology Imphal under Central Agriculture University Imphal organised a relief material distribution cum health check up at the relief centre opened at Khangabok, Thoubal district on Thursday.

Speaking to the media, Food Technology B Tech 4th semester student Rahun Chingabam said that the health camp was held for the inmates in the relief camp and free medicines were also given to the inmates. Doctors, including specialists from JNIMS, treated the inmates during the health camp.

A painting competition for the children in the relief camp was also held and winners were presented with prizes.

College of Food Technology professor Punageshwor appealed to the authorities concerned to bring a solution to bring back peace and normalcy in the state.
