The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Imphal East in collaboration with Manipur State Legal Services Authority (MASLSA) under the aegis of National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) organised a ‘One Day District Level Capacity Building Programme’ for stakeholders on Friday.
The programme was held at the ADR Building, Lamphel Court Complex in Imphal West under the theme, ‘Ground level issues and challenges faced by stakeholders dealing with matters related to POCSO cases,’ stated DLSA, Imphal East in a release.
It mentioned that participant stakeholders include representatives of the Child Welfare Committee; District Child Protection Unit; Manipur Police; Legal Aid Lawyers and PLVs of DLSA, Imphal East.
During the programme, secretary of DLSA, Imphal East Salam Imocha Singh spoke on the topic ‘POCSO cases – Ground realities and roles of different stakeholders and prosecution and POCSO cases,’ it further stated, adding, an interaction session was also held.
