The BSF-STC, Churachandpur, on Tuesday organised Blood Donation Camp and donated 30 units of blood for Churachandpur district Blood Bank. The camp was held in a run-up to the 58th Raising Day Celebration on December 1, 2022.
The Blood Donation Camp, organised at BSF-STC Hospital, was inaugurated by Commandants/CI Hidam Shubol Singh in the presence of CMO(SG) Dr JC Anal, District Hospital Blood Bank in-charge Dr Ksh Vijayanta and other officers and personnel of BSF-STC.
The Commandant/CI said that the blood donation camp was organised to create awareness about blood donation among the general public and as a good gesture from the BSF while asking people to come forward and donate blood voluntarily 'as many are living below poverty line’. He also expressed his gratitude to the blood bank staff for facilitating the blood donation.
