Condemning the bomb attack at the head office of AMSU in the strongest terms, the Coalition Against Drugs and Alcohol (CADA) on Friday stated that the incident was unfortunate and urged the public to stand united against such acts.

AMSU is not only the oldest student body in the state but has been spearheading several movements as well as taking a major part in the efforts to bring quality education, CADA stated in a release signed by secretary, information and publicity Khundongbam Anand.

To say that only the people with vested interests would carry out such an attack would not be an overstatement, CADA further stated while appealing all to stand united against such acts.

Meanwhile, the All Manipur Muslim Students’ Organisation (AMMSO) has termed the attack as a huge drawback among the student community, and appealed not to carry out such an acts again in the future.
