Unidentified persons attaked the house of government official Ningthoujam Gojendro in Imphal West yet again on Tuesday.
As per a CCTV footage, two miscreants who came on a two-wheeler hurled a Chinese hand grenade at around 7.30 pm into the house of the director, Agriculture department, located at Tera Sapam Leirak Nongmaithem Leikai under Lamphel Police station in Imphal West.

As the bomb failed to explode, it was discovered by the family members in the morning. The bomb was collected by the Lamphel Police and a case has been registered in connection with the incident.
Manipur police bomb disposal squad later exploded the bomb safely at Lamphel, waste dumping site around 11.5 am.
This is the third attack on the house of the state Agriculture director. Miscreants had earlier exploded an IED at the gate of the house at around 9.18 pm on June 24, and lobbed a hand grenade into the compound of the director's house on Monday (July 4).
