BJP will win in 30 plus seats in first phase polls: Manipur CM Biren

Manipur Assembly Elections 2022 First Phase: Chief Minister N Biren Singh appealed to all the voters and workers of candidates to refrain from any kind of violence and cast their votes in freely.

Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh on Monday expressed confidence that BJP will win at least 30 seats of the 38 Assembly seats in the first phase of the 12th Manipur Assembly elections 2022.

Biren was speaking to the media after casting his vote at his home polling station of Heingang AC in Luwangsangbam, Imphal East.

“My rival candidate in Heingang AC is just a name sake. At maximum he may get only five per cent of the vote,” Biren said.

P Sharatchandra of INC is the lone rival candidate of Biren in Heingang constituency.

The chief minister also assured that an absolute BJP government in Manipur will be successful in maintaining peace and harmony in the state.
