The All Manipur Working Journalist Union (AMWJU) on Thursday celebrated the 47th Foundation Day of Manipur Press Club at the club premises at Majorkhul, Imphal.

Addressing the function as chief guest, Chief Minister N Biren Singh extended his gratitude to the media fraternity for their tireless efforts in bringing development, peace and tranquility in the state.

The function was also attended by Rajya Sabha MP Leishemba Sanajaoba, Editor's Guild Manipur president Khogendra Khomdram and the All Manipur Working Journalists' Union president Wangkhemcha Shamjai as guests of honour and president respectively.
