All Manipur Muslim Students’ Organisation (AMMSO) on Friday declared that the organisation has discharged is advisor Md Salim Azad for allegedly going against the regulations of the organisation.

A release issued by AMMSO president Kh Ayub Shah stated that the organisation has permanently discharged its advisor Md Salim Azad for allegedly carrying out actions for his personal interests and going against the regulations of AMMSO.

It accused Md Salim for playing a major role in inciting the division of AMMSO into factions, unbeknownst to AMMSO president and executive members. Accusing Salim for publicly defaming AMMSO president, it added that the organisation will seek the help of the law in taking actions against him.
