The election was conducted in the presence of AMGSU president LB Adhikari and general secretary Nitesh Dabadi. 

Suresh Poudhyal was elected as the new president of AMGSU Kanglatongbi Unit and Devendra Dahal as general secretary while Mary (Smita) Thapa, Manoj Rijal, Ravina Gurung and Sneha Chapagain were elected as vice president and Rahul Basnet, Kriti Thapa and Deepankar Poudhyal were elected as joint secretary.

Indra Bhahadur Budhathoki and Aasish Koirala were elected as treasurer and games and sports secretary respectively, Pushpam Basnet and Manoj Ramudamu were elected as assistant games and sports secretary.

Sishiliya Poudhyal and Sahil Kadel were elected education secretary and education joint secretary respectively while Gayetri Uprety was elected as culture secretary and Prajakta Basnet and Khushi Bhattarai were elected joint culture secretary.

Tilak Bhattarai, Ashutosh Khatiwada, Sabeena Bahal, Rinki Pradhan, Milan Gurung, Poonam Rizal, Pooja Neopane and Monika Das were elected as information secretary.
