President of India Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday paid their tributes to Dr Rajendra Prasad, the first President of India, on his birth anniversary.

President Droupadi Murmu paid floral tributes to Dr Rajendra Prasad at Rashtrapati Bhavan, Delhi, the President tweeted. 

Also paying his tributes to Dr Rajendra Prasad Ji on his birth anniversary, the Prime Minister tweeted, "Remembering Dr. Rajendra Prasad Ji on his birth anniversary. A legendary leader, he epitomised courage and scholarly zeal. He was firmly rooted in India’s culture and also had a futuristic vision for India’s growth."
