Bharat Jodo Yatra to culminate on January 30

The Bharat Jodo Yatra, which started in Kanyakumari on September 7, 2022, will conclude on January 30, 2023 after covering 3,970 Km in 12 states and two Union territories.

The Bharat Jodo Yatra, which started in Kanyakumari on September 7, 2022, will conclude on January 30, 2023 after covering 3,970 km in 12 states and two Union territories, Manipur State National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) president Md Kabir Ahamad said.

NSUI, in a statement, said that the Bharat Jodo Yatra has received an overwhelming response from millions of people. It has spread Rahul Gandhi's message of love and unity among citizens of the country. The tremendous support from all sections of society and the heartful involvement of the people has made this a historic yatra and a game-changer in Indian politics, it stated.

To mark the culmination of the Yatra, Rahul Gandhi will hoist the National flag at the PCC headquarters of Jammu and Kashmir in Srinagar on January 30 at 10, it added.

Md Kabir Ahamad, along with Lhingkim Haokip Shingnaisui, secretary of AIMCC, representing Manipur in the historic walk from Kanyakumari to Kashmir, have received certain joy and safely reached the end of the Yatra and will join the ceremony alongside Rahul Gandhi.

MPCC president MLA Meghachandra, CLP leader and former Manipur chief minister O Ibobi Singh, and member of the steering committee AICC and former Manipur deputy chief minister Gaikhangam, will also be present to grace the function marking the culmination of Bharat Jodo Yatra, the release said.

Md Kabir Ahamad also earnestly appealed to all the citizens of the country to collectively embrace the celebration.
