Science is always with us and if there is no science then, there will be no development, said science and technology minister Biswajit while addressing the gathering. It is the responsibility of the teachers to teach and educate students, he said, adding that a student can learn things practically, not only with theory. Now, practical teaching methods have become the fastest learning method, he added.

From the hill districts, systematically many doctors are there but less in other technical fields because of the lack of science subjects, said the minister. To achieve sustainable development science is required, the minister added and appealed to teachers of the hill districts to take responsibility to attract students to science subjects.

“The most important person to build a nation is a teacher and there is no student without teacher”, said the minister, adding that teachers should take responsibility for creating a good nation.
