MU organises fortnightly lecture series on human trafficking

The fortnightly lecture series aims to guide social sciences research scholars by using modern methodology to get their desired result.

Centre for Study of Social Exclusion and Inclusion Policy (CSSEIP), Manipur University organised a fortnightly lecture series on the topic "Emerging research trends on human trafficking''.

Professor Ajailiu Niumai, professor of Sociology and HOD CSSEIP, University of Hyderabad spoke as a resource person during the programme held at the conference hall of the centre.

Niumai also spoke on the difficulties faced by female victims of human trafficking in the state and how to prevent human trafficking. 

The fortnightly lecture series aims to guide social sciences research scholars by using modern methodology to get their desired result. Research scholars of different social sciences disciplines attended the programme.

Speaking during the lecture programme, Manipur University CSSEIP, associate professor Th Bharat, said that the lecture series is being held as a part of its ongoing fortnightly lecture series. He added the programme will help research scholars to gain more knowledge.
