Kakching High School 1984 Matric Batch on Monday, felicitated meritorious students of class X, XII, All India NEET, JEE Advance and the six candidates who passed the All India Civil Services Preliminary- 2023 of Kakching district.
Cash prizes and certificates were awarded to the students during the programme held at Library and Information Centre, Kakching. An interaction programme was also held.
Speaking at the event, president of the batch N Munal Meitei said that more than 16 thousand students have been greatly affected by the current unrest in the state. The government should take up every possible step to make education a disturbance free zone, he added.
He also appealed that everyone should take part in shaping the students who are the future pillars of the society.
