The 26th Annual Prize Distribution cum Felicitation Programme for the Meritorious Students of Moijing was organised by Educational Guidance Centre (EGC), Moijing at the Moijing Community Hall in Thoubal on Wednesday.
During the event, 26 meritorious students were felicitated, including 72 students who passed the latest class X and XII exam conducted by CBSE, BOSEM and COHSEM; two students who cleared the UGC NET exam; two students who cleared the NEET exam; seven athletes who were laurelled in various national and international level competitions; along with 45 meritorious students who bagged the top positions in the recent ‘Talent Hunt Examination’ and ‘Quiz Competitions’ conducted by EGC.
The programme was attended by Khangabok assembly constituency MLA Surjakumar Okram as the chief guest, EGC president Abdur Razzaq as the president along with Leishangthem Zilla Parishad former member Md Abdul Latif, Moijing Gram Panchayat former pradhan Md Abdul Waris, DI of Zone II Thoubal Ningombam Tiken as the guests of honour.
On the occasion, MLA Surjakumar extended acknowledgement for the activities taken up by EGC for the development of the education sector.
