A one-day lecture programme on “Career Oriented Japanese Language Awareness Programme” was held on Thursday at the auditorium of IIIT Manipur in Imphal. It was organised by IBM project manager Chingsubam Victor, at individual level.
The lecture was given by director of Mosaique Pvt Ltd, Hiroyuki Ishida, while director of IIIT Manipur, Prof Krishnan Baskar, presided over the programme.
Speaking on the sideline of the programme, Chingsubam Victor informed that above 5,000 Japanese companies are in India, however the people of the state are not grabbing such opportunities.
So, learning the Japanese language will be a great opportunity for the people of the state to get jobs in Japanese companies in India, he added.
