Class X, XII students felicitated in Imphal East

Director of Social Welfare Ng Uttam on Sunday said each student has their own potential to make their own career and those students who scored lower marks should not be disheartened.

Encouraging the students who cleared the recent Class X and XII exams, Director of Social Welfare Ng Uttam on Sunday said each student has their own potential to make their own career and those students who scored lower marks should not be disheartened.

He was speaking during a felicitation programme for students of Class X and XII who cleared the BOSEM, COHSEM and CBSE at the community hall of Ima Lai Khutlembi, Khurai, Imphal East.

The programme was organised by Khurai Nandeibam Leikai Zilla Parisad Welfare Committee.

Uttam, as chief guest, said that due to the lack of co-curricular activities while focusing on studies even students who secured high marks failed to crack interviews. 

Uttam also advised the students to have the knowledge of time management and a strict discipline as maintaining discipline will help them while shaping their career.

Additional superintendent of police, Imphal East, Arambam Pramesh, as guest of honour, said students, in order to succeed in their lives, should follow strict discipline and should give full effort to which they are fond of. Each individual has their own potential and utilising the potential will help succeed in life, he said.

As a part of the function, 107 students of Class X for both BOSEM and CBSE; 94 students of Class XII for both COHSEM and CBSE, irrespective of their positions and divisions, were felicitated.

Khurai Nandeibam Leikai Zilla Parisad member, A Okendra Singh, also attended the function as president.
