Zero COVID-19 active cases in four NE states

Assam, Tripura, Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh in Northeast India have so far reported zero COVID-19 active cases.

Assam, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland in Northeast India have so far reported zero COVID-19 active cases.

The COVID-19 confirmed caseload stood at 7,46,099 in Assam, 1,08,033 in Tripura, 66,889 in Arunachal Pradesh and 35,986 in Nagaland.

The COVID-19 death toll remained 8,935 in Assam, 940 in Tripura, 782 in Nagaland and 296 in Arunachal Pradesh.

Meanwhile, as of Thursday morning, Mizoram reported five new COVID-19 positive cases and one new recovery, taking the active case tally to nine.

Manipur reported no new cases and its active cases remained one. With no new cases, Meghalaya and Sikkim each reported two active cases.

Meanwhile, India COVID-19 confirmed caseload rose to 5,30,647, with 241 more people testing positive for the viral infection, while 243 more recovered from it. The total recoveries reached 4,41,39,299. Following it, the active caseload dipped to 5,467, and the daily active case rate stood at 0.01 per cent as of 11 am Thursday.
