One more tests COVID-19 positive in Imphal West

A total of 77 COVID-19 tests were conducted in Manipur on Monday, of which one returned positive for the infection.

Manipur on Monday recorded one new COVID-19 case, taking the cumulative number of positive cases in the state to 1,39,916, including a death toll of 2,149, official sources said. The daily positivity rate is 1.3 per cent.

A total of 77 COVID-19 tests were conducted in Manipur on Monday, of which one returned positive for the infection. Manipur has so far conducted 16,62,695 COVID-19 tests, the sources said.

The single COVID-19 positive case reported in Manipur on Monday was from Imphal West, the sources added.

According to a release issued by COVID-19 Common Control Room on Monday, the COVID-19 related deaths were reported during the last 24 hours from any part of the state.

The number of COVID-19 active cases increased to eight as no new recovery was reported in the state on Monday.

The number of COVID-19 vaccine doses administered on November 27 was eight. The cumulative doses administered so far reached 32,63,860, including 16,48,451 first dose, 13,36,653 second dose and the 2,78,756 precautionary dose.
