No new COVID-19 cases, active case tally drops to one in Manipur

The cumulative number of COVID-19 cases in the state remained unchanged at 1,39,919, while the death toll stood at 2,149.

Manipur on Tuesday reported no new cases of COVID-19, and the number of active cases dropped to one while the cumulative number of COVID-19 cases in the state remained unchanged at 1,39,919.

The COVID-19 Common Control Room stated in a release that there were no reports of any new positive cases and not a single person died of Covid from any part of the state on Tuesday. The cumulative number of COVID-19 deaths remained 2,149, it stated. 

Three persons were discharged on Tuesday, it stated. The recovery rate is 98.46 per cent, it added.

It stated that the number of doses of COVID-19 vaccine administered on December 5 was 90. The cumulative doses of vaccine administered so far are 32,64,480, it stated. Of the total, the first dose is 1648527, second dose is 1336922 and precaution dose is 2,79,031, it mentioned.
