New COVID-19 case pushes active tally to two in Manipur

As per the latest update, the total number of people who have been administered COVID vaccine has reached 29,20,482 (first dose: 15,78,097 second dose: 12,41,287 precautionary dose: 1,01,098).

Manipur on Sunday reported one new COVID-19 case, pushing the state's total positive caseload to 1,37,243 and the death toll stood at 2,120 with no new fatality, according to the latest update by the state health department.

The single COVID-19 positive case was reported from Ukhrul.

A total of 32 COVID-19 tests were conducted in Manipur on Sunday. Manipur has so far conducted 16,13,687 COVID-19 tests.

Zero new COVID-19 recovery was also recorded in the state on Sunday. The number of recovered cases stood at 1,35,121 and the recovery rate is 98.45 per cent. Manipur now has two COVID-19 active cases, according to a release issued by the state COVID-19 Common Control Room.

Meanwhile, a total of 122 oxygen cylinders and 14 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health institutions and health facilities of Manipur as of June 11.

As per the latest update, the total number of people who have been administered COVID vaccine has reached 29,20,482 (first dose: 15,78,097 second dose: 12,41,287 precautionary dose: 1,01,098).

The cumulative number of people who have been vaccinated in the state with the first dose is 61.92 per cent and for the second dose is 52.57 per cent, it mentioned.
