Manipur's daily new COVID-19 cases continued to remain below five as only three persons tested positive for the novel coronavirus on Saturday, taking the state's tally to 29,233, according to the state health department.
The new positive cases were from the general population and included two from Senapati and one from Bishnupur, a release issued by the COVID-19 common control room stated.
No COVID-19 death case was recorded in Manipur for the 13th consecutive day on Saturday and the death toll remained at 373, the release stated.
Meanwhile, four more persons recovered from COVID-19, pushing the cumulative number of recovered cases to 28,776., With the new recovered cases, the active caseload stood at 84 and the state's recovery rate reached 98.43 per cent, it added.
The state health department had advised those in contact with a COVID-19 positive person to isolate themselves immediately, contact the Covid Control room or the district CMO for testing. In case of emergency, one can dial 24x7 Covid Common Control Room Number-1800-345-3818; for home isolation-related cases, one can dial the home isolation helpline numbers- 0385-2414009 (State head quarter) and - 8415944151 (Thoubal), the state health department stated.
One can also avail online teleconsultation by government doctors from home (10 am to 3 pm every day except on Sunday) by downloading eSanjeevaniOPD app at Google Play store or go to the website - www.esanjeevaniopd.in.
The state health department has also advised the public to dial - 104 Manipur Mental Health Helpline from 9 am to 9 pm, for mental wellbeing.
COVID-19 Vaccination Drive
A total of 40,118 beneficiaries have been vaccinated against COVID-19 in Manipur, of which 1,630 people were vaccinated on Sunday.
The total number of healthcare workers vaccinated till date is 29,318, the state health department said. No severe reactions or allergies were reported following the immunisation till date. There were 47 mild reactions who were on home care, however, all of them have fully recovered, the state health department added.
