Manipur on Monday reported six more COVID-19 deaths, but its daily new cases dropped to 100 and the daily positivity rate fell to 5.1 per cent, according to the latest update by the state health department.
Of the six fatalities recorded on Monday, three deaths were from Imphal West, two from Imphal East and one from Ukhrul. The COVID-19 death toll mounted to 1,868.
As per the update, a total of 1,955 test results were received on Monday, of which 100, including 30 from Imphal West, 29 from Imphal East, 16 from Ukhrul, seven from Bishnupur, four each from Kangpokpi and Thoubal, three each from Churachandpur and Senapati and two from Kakching and one each from Chandel and Pherzawl were found positive for COVID-19.
With these new positive cases, the COVID-19 tally in Manipur reached 1,21,146 on Monday.
