Manipur's COVID-19 active tally remains one with zero new cases

According to a release issued by the state COVID-19 Common Control Room, the state reported zero recovery, confining the number of recovered cases to 1,35,110.

Manipur on Wednesday recorded zero new COVID-19 positive cases, confining the state's COVID-19 confirmed tally to 1,37,231 and the death toll remained 2,120 with zero new fatality, according to the latest update by the state health department.

According to a release issued by the state COVID-19 Common Control Room, the state reported zero recovery, confining the number of recovered cases to 1,35,110 and the recovery rate is 98.45 per cent. Manipur now has one COVID-19 active case, as per the release.

Meanwhile, a total of 160 Oxygen Cylinders and 21 B-type Oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health institutions and health facilities of Manipur in the last 24 hours.

As per the latest update, the total number of people who have been administered the vaccine has reached 28,86,838 (first dose: 15,67,518 second dose: 12,24,619 precautionary dose: 94,701).

The cumulative number of people who have been vaccinated in the state with the first dose is 61.84 per cent and for the second dose is 51.99 per cent, it mentioned.
