Manipur's COVID-19 confirmed caseload reached 1,39,818 with two more positive cases on Tuesday, and the number of active cases recorded was 11, official sources said.

According to the COVID-19 Common Control Room onTuesday, the new positive cases are from Imphal West and Kakching. All necessary medical precautionary measures like containment and contact tracing were in place, it said.

The State Level Covid 19 Deaths Audit Committee reported no death due to COVID-19. The cumulative number of COVID-19 deaths in the state remained 2,148.

No new COVID-19 recovery was recorded on Tuesday. The cumulative number of recovered cases is 1,37,658 and the recovery rate is 98.46 per cent as on Tuesday.

As on October 3, a total of 151 D-type Oxygen cylinders and 11 B-type Oxygen cylinders were made available to different health facilities of Manipur.

A total of 319 COVID-19 vaccine doses were administered on October 3. The cumulative vaccination coverage reached 32,38,138. Of it, first dose has been administered to 16,44,023 people, second dose was 13,26,502 and precautionary dose coverage reached 2,67,613.
