Manipur on Monday recorded only one new COVID-19 positive case, pushing the state's tally to 1,37,221 while the death toll remained at 2,120 with zero new fatality, according to the latest update by the state health department. The positivity rate is 1.1 per cent.
According to a release issued by the state COVID-19 Common Control Room, the single COVID-19 case reported on Monday is from Imphal West.
The state also reported nine new recoveries, taking the number of recovered cases to 1,35,095. The recovery rate is 98.45 per cent. Manipur now has six COVID-19 active cases, as per the release.
Meanwhile, a total of 35 oxygen cylinders and 23 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health institutions and health facilities of Manipur in the last 24 hours.
As per the latest update, the total number of people who have been administered the vaccine has reached 28,45,736 (first dose: 15,57,100 second dose: 12,05,189 precautionary dose: 83,447).
The cumulative number of people who have been vaccinated in the state with the first dose is 61.67 per cent and for the second dose is 51.35 per cent, it mentioned.
