Manipur reports one more COVID-19 case

One female from Imphal West was found COVID-19 positive on Thursday.

After three consecutive days of zero new positive case, Manipur on Thursday reported one new COVID-19 case, taking the cumulative number of cases to 1,39,920.

According to a release issued by COVID-19 Common Control Room on Thursday, one female from Imphal West tested positive but not a single person died in the last 24 hours; the cumulative number of COVID-19 deaths remained unchanged at 2149. No person was discharged on Thursday, it stated.

With one positive case reported, the number of COVID-19 active cases rose to two and the recovery rate remained 98.46 per cent.

The number of COVID- 19 vaccine doses administered on December 7 was 94. The cumulative number of vaccine doses administered so far is 3264642, including first dose 16,48,541, second dose 13,37,033 and precaution dose 2,79,068.
