Manipur logs one new COVID-19 positive case, tally at 1,39,919

Only one person recovered from COVID-19 in Manipur on Saturday.

Manipur on Saturday recorded one new COVID-19 case, taking the cumulative number of positive cases in the state to 1,39,919, including a death toll of 2,149, official sources said.

According to a release issued by COVID-19 Common Control Room on Saturday, the single COVID-19 positive case reported in Manipur on Saturday was from Imphal West district. No COVID-19 related deaths were reported during the last 24 hours from any part of the state, it stated.

The number of COVID-19 active cases remained five as only one person recovered from the infection on Saturday.

The number of COVID-19 vaccine doses administered on December 2 was 94. The cumulative doses administered so far reached 32,64,342, including 16,48,494 first dose, 13,36,881 second dose and the 2,78,967 precaution dose.

If you have any flu or flu like symptoms, get tested, the release stated. Follow Covid Appropriate behavior. Continue to wear masks, wash hands frequently and get vaccinated, the release added.
