Manipur on Thursday reported 26 new COVID-19 cases and one more fatality from Imphal West, according to the latest update by the state health department. The day's positivity rate is 3.5 per cent.

The state's cumulative tally of confirmed COVID-19 cases reached 1,39,472 while the death toll climbed to 2,141.

Among the new positive cases, 10 were from Imphal West, six from Imphal East, three from Churachandpur, two each from Bishnupur, Thoubal and Ukhrul, and one from Chandel.

Manipur conducted a total of 745 COVID-19 tests on Thursday. The state has so far conducted 16,38,634 COVID-19 tests.
