Manipur on Thursday reported 22 new COVID-19 positive cases and zero death cases, pushing the state's total positive cases to 1,37,367 and confining the death toll at 2,120.
Of the 22 positive cases, nine were reported from Imphal West, five from Imphal East, three from Kakching, two each from Churachandpur and Thoubal and one from Ukhrul. The positivity rate is 7.5 per cent.
According to the latest update by the state health department, a total of 295 COVID-19 tests were conducted in Manipur on Thursday. Manipur has so far conducted 16,15,897 COVID-19 tests.
The state also recorded four new COVID-19 recoveries increasing the number of recovered cases to 1,35,150 and the recovery rate is 98.39 per cent. Manipur now has 97 COVID-19 active cases, according to a release issued by the state COVID-19 Common Control Room.
Meanwhile, a total of 196 oxygen cylinders and 51 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health institutions and health facilities of Manipur as of July 6.
As per the latest update, the total number of people who have been administered the vaccine has reached 29,75,875 (first dose: 15,96,528 second dose: 12,63,083 and precautionary dose: 1,16,264).
The cumulative number of people who have been vaccinated in the state with the first dose is 61.99 per cent and for the second dose is 53.30 per cent, it mentioned.
