Manipur active COVID-19 caseload rises to 320 with 77 new cases

According to the latest update by the state health department, a total of 568 COVID-19 tests were conducted in Manipur on Thursday. Manipur has so far conducted 16,18,462COVID-19 tests.

Manipur on Thursday reported 77 new COVID-19 positive cases and zero death cases, pushing the state's total positive cases to 1,37,690 and confining the death toll at 2,120.

Of the 77 positive cases, 46 were reported from Imphal West, 12 from Imphal East, four from Kakching, three from Bishnupur, Chandel and Thoubal, two each from Kangpokpi and Ukhrul and one each from churachandpur and Senapati. The positivity rate is 13.6 per cent.

The state also recorded 25 new COVID-19 recoveries increasing the number of recovered cases to 1,35,250 and the recovery rate is 98.23 per cent. Manipur now has 320 COVID-19 active cases.
