India's Covid-19 active caseload drops to 99,763

The country’s Covid-19 active cases account for less than one per cent of the total cases, currently at 0.29 per cent; lowest since March 2020.

India on Thursday reported 9,765 new cases and 8,548 recoveries. Consequently, COVID-19 active caseload stood at 99,763, according to the latest update by the Union Home Ministry.

The country’s Covid-19 active cases account for less than one per cent of the total cases, currently at 0.29 per cent; lowest since March 2020.

Kerala continue to record highest number of active cases at 44,778 among all states and union territories in the country.

The country’s total Covid-19 confirmed caseload reached 3,46,06,541 and death toll mounted to 4,69,724 with 477 more deaths reported in a span of 24 hours as per the latest updates.

The Recovery Rate currently is 98.35 and the total recoveries increased to 3,40,37,054.

Daily positivity rate (0.89%) remained less than two per cent for last 59 days

Weekly positivity rate (0.85%) stood below one per cent for last 18 days

In all 64.35 crore total tests have been conducted across the country so far, and 124.96 cr vaccine doses have been administered so far under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive.
