Manipur reported five new COVID-19 positive cases, taking the number of active cases to 16 as no new recoveries were reported in the last 24 hours. The number of COVID-19 active cases in the state on Tuesday was 11.
According to a release by COVID-19 Common Control Room on Wednesday, two new cases were reported from Imphal East and one each from Imphal West, Thoubal and Churachandpur districts, taking the cumulative number of COVID- 19 cases in the state to 1,39,823 as on Wednesday.
No deaths were reported due to COVID-19 over the last 24 hours from any part of the state. Hence, the cumulative number of Covid 19 deaths remained at 2,149.
According to a report received from the State Immunization Officer, Manipur, the number of doses of COVID-19 vaccine administered on October 4 was 508 with the cumulative doses standing at 32,38,697. Of this, the number of first dose stood at 16,44,143, second dose at 13,26,787 and precautionary dose was 2,67.767.
