Coronavirus claims 11,99,684 patients of 4,64,26,677 total cases worldwide

In all, 6,614 more COVID-19 patients in the world succumbed to the illness on Sunday.

A total of 11,99,684 patients of the 4,64,26,677 people who tested positive for COVID-19 worldwide have died as per the latest updates.

On Sunday, 5,10,526 more people were reported tested for Coronavirus all across the world and 6,614 COVID-19 patients succumbed to the illness.

However, 53,678 more recoveries pushed the total number of recovered cases in the world to 75,42,905.

Of the total COVID-19 confirmed cases, the United States still has the highest confirmed tally of 9,302,271 and death toll of 234567.

India remains in the second spot with a total of 82,29,322 COVID-19 confirmed cases and death toll of  1,22,642.

Meanwhile, the COVID-19 confirmed cases in Manipur, Northeast India has risen to 18,750 and the death toll has moved to 171 as the virus claimed lives of three more patients on Sunday, according to the state health department.

Assam which has the highest number of COVID-19 caseload in Northeast India has so far reported 2,06,517 confirmed cases and 931 deaths.
