Manipur's daily Covid-19 positivity rate jumped to 6.3 per cent on Sunday with a spike of 14 new positive cases reported, as per the latest updates by the state Health department.
The state's COVID-19 tally rose to 1,37,119, including 2,120 deaths.
According to a release issued by the state COVID-19 Common Control Room, four new COVID-19 cases were from Imphal East, three from Imphal West, two each from Bishnupur, Churachandpur and Kakching, and one from Thoubal.
The state also recorded four new recoveries, taking the cumulative number of recovered cases to 1,34,958. The recovery rate is 98.42 per cent. Manipur now has 41 COVID-19 active cases, as per the release.
Meanwhile, a total of 311 D-type oxygen cylinders and 118 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health institutions and health facilities of Manipur in the last 24 hours.
As per the latest update, the total number of people who have been administered the vaccine has reached 27,91,776 (first dose: 15,41,950 second dose: 11,83,468 precautionary dose: 66,358).
The cumulative number of people who have been vaccinated in the state with the first dose is 61.54 per cent and for the second dose is 50.55 per cent, it mentioned.
