A workshop on the study of different art forms 2021-2022 has been organised by Meitei Traditional Dance Teaching School and Performing Centre (MTDTSPC) at its premises, Lalambung Makhong Takhellambam Leikai, Imphal West.

Speaking at the opening function as chief guest on Sunday, director, Kanglei Mime Theater, Imphal Y Sadananda said that Manipur has rich art and culture. The youth of the state should take sincere responsibility to safeguard them as they are the identity of the state. Besides, the state is endowed with rich natural resources and used to be a self-reliant state. Today, every essential item is being imported, he added.

The people of the state should think about promoting and using the items available in the state instead of importing everything. The state should shape the youth of today by providing them continuous support, he added.
